Privacy Policy

memepad (the “Service”) is a self-custodial application for creating and trading memecoins on the Solana blockchain. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Service (web and mobile app) collects, and how we use, retain, and share it.

The Service is self-custodial. You control your own wallet private keys; memepad does not hold or have access to your funds or private keys.

1. Information We Collect

The Service may collect the following information:

  • Account & authentication: your email address, or your Google, Apple, or X (Twitter) account identifier when you sign in. Authentication and embedded-wallet creation are handled by our authentication provider, Privy.
  • Wallet: your public wallet address. memepad does not have access to your private keys.
  • On-chain activity: blockchain transactions such as trades and coin creations. This information is public on the Solana network.
  • User-generated content: the name, ticker, and image you provide when creating a coin (permanent and public after launch), and any call-outs or posts you make in the community.
  • Social connection: if you connect your X account, your handle, display name, and avatar.
  • Device & usage: IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps — standard logs used to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

memepad does not use third-party advertising trackers and does not sell personal information.

  • To provide and operate the Service (feeds and charts, coin creation and trading, wallet and portfolio features)
  • To provide community features (call-outs, posts, notifications)
  • For security, prevention of fraud and abuse, and quality improvement
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Blockchain Data (Public & Permanent)

Information recorded on-chain — such as wallet addresses, transaction history, and the metadata of coins you create — is public and permanent by the nature of the Solana blockchain and cannot be reversed or deleted. A coin's image and metadata cannot be changed or removed after launch.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on the following third parties:

  • Privy — authentication and embedded wallet
  • Supabase — database and backend hosting
  • Helius and other RPC providers — Solana network access
  • Vercel — web hosting
  • The Solana blockchain — on-chain transactions (public and permanent)

5. Retention & Your Choices

Off-chain information associated with your account is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated off-chain personal information through in-app settings (where available) or by contacting us at the address below. On-chain data is public and permanent and cannot be deleted.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for the security of your wallet and authentication credentials.

7. Age

The Service is intended for adults (18+, or 19+ in the Republic of Korea) and is not directed to children. Memecoins are highly volatile, high-risk assets.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. When we do, we will post the revised version here with an updated effective date.
